Is America a democracy? The answer is no! America is a republic. A republic is a form of government that rules by the executive, legislative, and judicial branches and are elected by the people of the land. A democracy is a government that is ruled completely by the people without any representatives to do it for them. Our country was the first republic ever to appear in history. The fact that the representatives that the people had elected, not the people, make the laws may be a reason why our country's so great, or used to be anyway. Since the people had been corrupted in the mid-20th century, so was the government. They passed laws that legalized abortion, illegalized prayer, and even took God out of public gathering places! America has never fully recovered from that decade of moral decay, in fact, the rate of moral decay is probably just as high or even higher than then! Since America turned its back on God, God is punishing America! There are so many abusing drugs, being sexually impure, smoking, drinking,, addicted to pornography and even murder! America is often called the largest "Christian" nation in the world but in my opinion, it isn't! How could we be in the largest Christian nation in the world if our society is so corrupt? America needs to repent now! It's not too late yet, so while there's still a chance, we need to act now! Let's be God's warriors and fight fight fight!
